Frequently Asked Questions
Your subscription is managed through your device's app store:
- iPhone/iPad: Go to Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Nook 22
- Android: Go to Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Nook 22
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription from there.
To cancel, follow the steps above to access your subscriptions in your device's app store settings. Tap on Nook 22 and select "Cancel Subscription".
You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your content remains accessible in read-only mode.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not directly by us. To request a refund:
- Apple: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google: Visit Google Play refund page
Open Nook 22 and go to Settings. Tap "Restore Purchases" to restore your subscription on the new device. Make sure you're signed in with the same App Store or Google Play account you used to purchase the subscription.
All your data (boards, checklists, notes, timer history) is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your content and it is not uploaded to any servers.
This means your data is private, but it also means you should regularly back up your data using the Export feature in Settings.
Go to Settings → Export Data. This creates a backup file containing all your boards, checklists, notes, and settings. You can save this file to your device, cloud storage, or share it via email.
To restore, use Settings → Import Data and select your backup file.
Unfortunately, because all data is stored locally on your device and we don't have access to it, we cannot recover lost data. This is why we strongly recommend regular backups.
If you have an iCloud or Google backup of your device, you may be able to restore your device to recover the data.
With a Nook 22 subscription, you can create:
- Up to 3 Kanban boards
- Up to 5 Checklists
- Up to 3 Notebooks
- Unlimited Pomodoro sessions
Archived items don't count towards your limits.
Without an active subscription, Nook 22 enters read-only mode. You can still view all your existing content, but you cannot create new items or edit existing ones.
Your data is never deleted — subscribe again at any time to regain full access.
