The free tier allows you to track up to 3 habits. With a Premium subscription, you can track up to 8 habits with custom colours, schedules, and reminders for each.
Your subscription is managed through your device's App Store:
- iPhone/iPad: Go to Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Habit 22
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription from there.
To cancel, access your subscriptions in your device's App Store settings. Tap on Habit 22 and select "Cancel Subscription".
You'll continue to have premium access until the end of your current billing period. After that, you'll return to the free tier but all your habits and data remain intact.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not directly by us. To request a refund:
- Apple: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
Open Habit 22 and go to Settings. Tap "Restore Purchases" to restore your subscription on the new device. Make sure you're signed in with the same App Store account you used to purchase the subscription.
All your data (habits, completion logs, streaks, settings) is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your content and it is not uploaded to any servers.
This means your data is private, but it also means you should regularly back up your data using the Export feature in Settings.
Go to Settings → Export Data. This creates a backup file containing all your habits, completion logs, and settings. You can save this file to your device, cloud storage, or share it via email.
To restore, use Settings → Import Data and select your backup file.
Unfortunately, because all data is stored locally on your device and we don't have access to it, we cannot recover lost data. This is why we strongly recommend regular backups.
If you have an iCloud backup of your device, you may be able to restore your device to recover the data.
If your Premium subscription expires and you have more than 3 habits, all your habits and data remain intact. However, you'll only be able to actively track and complete your first 3 habits until you resubscribe.
Your premium statistics and themes will also be locked, but none of your data is deleted.
Your streak counts consecutive days you've completed a habit. If a habit is scheduled for specific days (e.g. Mon, Wed, Fri), only those days count towards your streak — missing a non-scheduled day won't break it.
Habit 22 tracks both your current streak and your all-time best streak for each habit.
Yes! Tap on any habit card to access its settings. You can change the name, colour, schedule, and reminder time at any point. Your existing completion history is preserved.

Start with just 1-2 habits. Once they become routine, add more gradually.
